Ranch + Rivers is a Central Texas–based interior design and lifestyle studio focused on hospitality by design. We collaborate with boutique hoteliers, restaurateurs, and development teams on hospitality, urban infill, and tenant environments—working closely with partners who value thoughtful planning, collaboration, and well-executed spaces.
The name Ranch + Rivers reflects the places that anchor the studio—life on a working heritage ranch outside Gruene, Texas, and long-standing ties to the river landscapes of New Braunfels. It speaks to a way of living and working rooted in stewardship—of working the land and designing spaces with intention.
We believe the most compelling environments balance performance and character. Our work prioritizes experience-driven spaces designed to feel like they have a soul.

Kelly Rotzler, RID
Principal & Owner
Sketch queen, code nerd, you’ve-got-a-problem–I’ll-solve-it energy. With more than fifteen years of experience across commercial, hospitality, residential, and multifamily projects, Kelly founded Ranch + Rivers to focus on the work she believes in most—spaces that feel considered, artisan, and grounded in real use.
A natural collaborator, Kelly balances clear problem-solving with fresh, left-field thinking. She takes the work seriously and herself less so, bringing clarity, humor, and levity to complex projects. Clients value her ability to navigate constraints with confidence, collaborate openly and candidly, and keep momentum through challenges—all while advocating fiercely for the integrity of the project.
Outside of client work, Kelly can be found spending time with her husband and 3 littles, working on their 1940s fixer-upper in downtown New Braunfels, or continually honing a new craft—always curious, always making.
Nathan Leber
Operations & Contract Manager
Nathan oversees operations, contracts, and financial management for Ranch + Rivers. A working rancher with a background in water resources and environmental science, he brings a systems-oriented, detail-driven approach to the business—supporting projects through clear processes, accountability, and long-term thinking.
His work ensures that projects are supported by sound structure and clarity behind the scenes, allowing the creative team and project partners to focus on design, collaboration, and execution with confidence.
